Our Design Approach
Our cakes are designed with a natural aesthetic. We work with fresh flowers and fruit in the colder months. Using only the produce available at the time, allowing each cake to reflect the season.
We do not replicate specific cake designs or strict colour schemes. Instead, we create cakes in our signature neutral and seasonal style, ensuring each cake feels unique, organic, and true to our aesthetic.

Our pricing reflects the quality, craftsmanship and care that goes into each cake
All of our prices include decoration
We use locally grown seasonal flowers during growing season
Out of growing season we use dried flowers or fruit
Our ingredients are carefully sourced to ensure the highest quality
All jams and curds are made in-house, ensuring freshness and flavour
Each cake is hand finished, giving careful attention to every detail

Sample Boxes
We offer Sample Boxes of our cakes for those who wish to try our flavours before ordering
Contents: Includes all three flavours - Vanilla Sponge, Chocolate Sponge, and Lemon & Poppyseed Sponge
Cost: £36 per box
Availability: Available for collection from the bakery on the first Friday of November, March, and July between 9am & 3pm
2026 Dates - 3rd July & 6th November
2027 Dates - 5th March, 2nd July & 5th November
Ordering Cut-Off: Orders must be placed at least one week before each sample date

Rich chocolate sponge filled with chocolate ganache and chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream (gluten, egg, dairy, sulphites, soya)
Lemon & Poppyseed Sponge
Zesty lemon and poppyseed sponge with lemon curd and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream (gluten, egg, dairy, sulphites)

As a small artisan bakery, we produce a limited number of cakes each week
To secure your order:
50% deposit at the time of booking
Remaining balance payable on collection
Orders are confirmed once availability has been checked and the deposit received
Occasion cakes are available for collection Thursday – Sunday, depending on bakery production schedules

We take great care in creating each cake to order. To ensure clarity for our clients, please note our policy:
Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to secure all cake orders. Deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations: If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. While we cannot refund deposits, we can discuss rescheduling or alternative arrangements where possible
Final Balance: The remaining balance is payable on collection. Cakes cannot be released without full payment
Order Details: Once an order is placed, there can be no changes to sizes or flavours. Please ensure your choices are final before confirming your order
Design Disclaimer
All Bakhoos cakes are created in our signature natural, seasonal style, using available blooms and ingredients at the time. As each cake is unique and guided by seasonality, exact designs cannot be guaranteed. By placing an order, you are agreeing to our design approach, and Bakhoos cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction with the final appearance of the cakeCancellation by Bakhoos
Bakhoos reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control that prevent fulfilment, including but not limited to illness, accident, family emergency, severe weather, power outage, or equipment failure. In such circumstances, all payments made will be refunded in full, and Bakhoos shall not be liable for any further costs, expenses, or losses incurred. We will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible
We recommend confirming all details carefully when placing your order to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience

Cakes are available for collection bewteen 10am to 3pm on your confirmed date
If you require an earlier collection please specify this on ordering
Our cakes are made with Swiss meringue buttercream, which is delicate and best kept cool but eaten at room temperature
Floral decorations will last in good conditions for around 24 hours after collection, we use fresh florals so they will be prone to wilting after this time period
After collection we recommend:
Transporting on a flat surface in the vehicle
Keeping cakes cool and out of direct sunlight
Storing in the refrigerator if not being served immediately
Cakes should be allowed at least an hour following refrigeration to come to room temperature
Cakes are best enjoyed at room temperature
Bakhoos cannot be responsible for damage after collection
